Today I was at the tax workshop to try to understand how to pay taxes here.
They defined the word "alien".
Alien is a human being coming from Earth who is not U.S. citizen.
There are three different types of aliens with different tax treaties:
Permanent resident aliens (with green card)
Nonresident aliens (with visa)
Illegal aliens (without a visa)
Illegal aliens don't have regular work, don't have health insurance, don't freely travel, but they pay taxes!
Apparently the federal tax office and the immigration office ignore each other...
ma le pagano anche spacciatori e meretrici, perché tanto il ministero delle finanze non é in contatto con il ministero degli interni?
